Though not from the same parents, 3 brothers ( AceWonda, Broadway & Cymarshall Law ) who united over 25 years ago in Central New Jersey, with the underlying theme being their mutual love of rap music, have come together finally as one in the form of a 3 headed monster, aptly titling their new project together “MONARCH”. The album shows the emcees bobbing and weaving through a range of subjects, each giving their own perspective on the matters at hand. Vibrant personalities and fine writing craftsmanship from the lyricists aggressively put this album in the forefront of today’s ever flowing releases. Here, there are no gimmicks, no angles being worked, just straight raw Hip Hop like they used to do, before politics got involved, before the stresses of adulthood got involved, before it was diluted… This album is you digging through your record collection when you first came to love the art form. Not smooth around all the edges, but it doesn’t want to be, this album’s only desire is to bleed authenticity, which it accomplishes flawlessly. The production is solely helmed by Cymarshall Law, and provides his unique style of beat making, sample chopping with an extra emphasis on tracks that make you just want to rock out!
